Still Have a Question?
-
We offer complete flexibility when it comes to toilet options for your Tiny Home. Since every owner has unique needs, toilets are not included as a standard feature — but we’re here to help you choose the right fit. Whether you're after a composting toilet, dry flush system, or a traditional flush toilet, we can guide you through the best choice for your lifestyle and location.
Toilets can be optioned into your quote, and we’ll assist with supply and recommendations. Please note: final plumbing must be completed by a licensed plumber once your home is on-site.
-
Every Freestyle Tiny Home comes with a Gas Compliance Certificate for peace of mind and safety assurance. Because most tiny homes on wheels are legally classified as caravans, electrical and plumbing certificates are not required and typically cannot be issued unless your home is connected to mains power or sewage on-site.
If you're planning to connect your tiny home to fixed services, a licensed professional will need to handle those installations and can provide relevant certification at that stage.
-
Connecting water to your Tiny Home is quick and simple — just plug in a standard garden hose using the provided fittings. For a more permanent setup, it’s just as easy to connect to a fixed water source with the help of a licensed plumber.
Whether you’re staying off-grid or setting up in a more permanent location, we make sure your water connection is straightforward and hassle-free.
-
Powering your Tiny Home is as easy as plugging in a 15amp extension lead. This standard connection makes it simple to hook up to mains power at caravan parks, properties, or off-grid setups with a generator or solar system.
Enjoy a hassle-free power connection that keeps your tiny home running smoothly — wherever you go.
-
Yes, you can connect your Tiny Home to sewerage mains. We make it easy with a 50mm PVC grey water outlet that’s ready for hookup. If you're connecting to the mains, a licensed plumber is required, and you may need council approvals depending on your location.
Prefer to go off-grid? No problem. There are plenty of sustainable sewage solutions available — from composting toilets to incinerating, dry flush, and other eco-friendly systems tailored to your lifestyle.

Yes, we offer delivery for all of our tiny homes across the Sunshine Coast and beyond. Most of our models are not legally towable due to their size and weight, so they must be transported via a super tilt truck. This service is available at an additional cost and we'll coordinate the logistics to ensure a smooth delivery to your site.
If you choose one of our towable tiny home models, we offer free local delivery within 50km of the Sunshine Coast. For locations beyond that, we can help arrange a suitable tow vehicle at an additional cost to the owner. Whether you're setting up in the Hinterland, Noosa, Brisbane, or regional Queensland, we’re here to make the delivery process as easy as possible.
-
Absolutely. We offer custom off-grid solutions to suit your lifestyle and location — perfect for those looking to live sustainably or set up in remote areas around the Sunshine Coast and beyond. One of our most popular options is a custom-built solar trailer, designed to power your tiny home independently with reliable solar energy. We can tailor the system to meet your energy needs, whether you're going fully off-grid or just want backup power. Let us know your setup goals, and we’ll help design the ideal off-grid package.

When properly maintained, composting toilets shouldn’t produce any unpleasant odour. However, if not cared for correctly, there can be an unpleasant smell. It’s essential to follow maintenance guidelines, such as ensuring adequate ventilation and regularly turning the compost, to avoid any odour issues. When choosing your composting toilet, it’s important to consider these factors and select a high-quality system that suits your needs. We’re happy to provide advice on the best composting toilets for your tiny home to ensure a clean and comfortable experience, especially in the Sunshine Coast’s humid climate.
-
When it comes to treating waste and grey water in your tiny home, there are several solutions available depending on your budget and preferences. Grey water treatment systems range from simple filtration and storage to more advanced, eco-friendly options like grey water recycling and irrigation systems. We recommend contacting the company you wish to purchase your system from for the most suitable advice and options for your tiny home setup.
For waste treatment, if you're opting for a composting toilet, the waste is handled in a closed, self-contained system that can be composted over time, reducing the need for traditional plumbing. Whether you're located on the Sunshine Coast or beyond, we can help guide you in choosing the right waste and grey water solutions to match your off-grid or sustainable living needs.
-
No, all of our tiny homes are built on a trailer for ease of mobility. This ensures that your tiny home remains roadworthy and compliant with Australian regulations, giving you the flexibility to relocate if necessary. Whether you're looking to set up your home on the Sunshine Coast or beyond, a trailer-based tiny home offers both freedom and convenience. If you're looking for a more permanent, foundation-based structure, we’d be happy to discuss alternative options to suit your needs.
-
The weight of our tiny homes can vary depending on the design, materials, and features you choose. Because most of our tiny homes are not legally towable, we’re not restricted by weight limitations, which allows us to offer more flexibility in the materials we use. This means we can build a more durable, high-quality home with the options you desire. If you’re interested in a specific weight range, we can discuss the details based on the model you choose, as each tiny home is custom-built to suit your preferences.

The need for council approval for your tiny home depends on your local council’s regulations. In most cases, if you're placing your tiny home on a permanent foundation or in a designated residential area, you will likely need approval. However, if you're opting for a towable model that remains mobile, you may not need approval in some areas, but this can vary. We recommend checking with your local council on the Sunshine Coast or surrounding regions for specific guidelines and zoning laws. We can also provide advice and support to help you navigate the approval process.
-
Our largest non-towable tiny home is 10m long by 3m wide and is a single-story dwelling. These dimensions offer a spacious living area while still complying with local regulations for non-towable homes. If you're looking for a more compact model or a specific layout, we can tailor the size to meet your needs. For towable models, size restrictions are generally smaller due to road transport laws. Feel free to discuss your ideal dimensions, and we’ll design a tiny home that fits your space and lifestyle on the Sunshine Coast.
-
Currently, we do not offer loft-style tiny homes. Our focus is on building single-story designs that maximise living space while maintaining a comfortable, accessible layout. However, we can work with you to create a customised floor plan that meets your needs, whether that involves open-plan living, extra storage, or clever space-saving solutions. If you're looking for a specific style or feature, feel free to discuss it with us — we’re happy to help design your perfect tiny home on the Sunshine Coast.
